Head Chef Location: Chicago, IL Salary: 80,000 : 90,000 Our client is a growing restaurant group that is known for its unique atmosphere, inventive menus, and acclaimed cocktail programs. They are expanding and are seeking a Head Chef to be part of their growing team and lead the culinary operations at one of their concepts. Responsibilities: * Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and cleanliness.* Supervise and participate in food preparation and presentation.* Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff.* Manage inventory and order supplies.* Control food costs and manage the kitchen budget.* Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.* Gather feedback and address customer concerns.* Maintain accurate records of inventory and operations.* Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques. Key Requirements: * 2+ years of proven experience as a head chef or similar role* Leadership and team management abilities.* In:depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.* Proficiency in managing budgets and controlling costs.* Genuine passion for cooking and culinary innovation.
