Duties:Assist the Senior Attorney in reviewing guardianship petitions and related legal documents.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other stakeholders in a professional and compassionate manner.Advocate for the rights and interests of vulnerable individuals in guardianship proceedings.Collaborate with the legal team to ensure efficient case management and client representation.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation. Requirements:Active membership in the Maryland State Bar or eligibility for admission by reciprocity.Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.Exceptional research and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with vulnerable individuals and their families.Demonstrated commitment to ethical and professional conduct. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Maryland State Bar or eligibility for admission by reciprocity. Skills:Legal research and writing.Case management and organization.Client communication and advocacy.Team collaboration and cooperation.Ethical and professional conduct in legal practice.
