The ideal candidate will manage litigated cases from the initial complaint through settlement or trial. This role requires a proactive individual with strong research, analytical, and writing skills, capable of handling multiple cases independently while maintaining excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Duties:Manage litigated cases from complaint to settlement/trialDraft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, oppositions, and briefsPrepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedingsNegotiate settlementsAttend mediationsConduct depositions of clients, defendants, and expertsMaintain communication with clients and opposing counselRequirements:Admitted to practice law in California and in good standing with the State BarMinimum of 3+ years of litigation/trial experienceEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Admission to the California State BarSkills:Strong research, analytical, and writing skillsAbility to take and defend depositionsExperience with legal drafting and litigation procedures for discovery motions, motions for summary judgment, and all trial motionsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneouslyProactive and goal-orientedLocation:Encino, CA
