About the PositionWe are seeking a licensed, Senior Interior Designer to join our growing Interior's team in any of the following Pond & Company offices: Jacksonville, FL; Columbia, SC; Atlanta, GA (either the Cobb County, Atlanta Downtown, or Peachtree Corners locations). The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of Interior Design practice experience with a variety of project types and roles. The successful candidate would lead a range of multidisciplinary projects and have a path for further upward growth and development. The successful candidate would also interface with clients and support proposal development and potentially manage and mentor a small team of younger staff. The ability to secure and win new work with clients is expected.Knowledge and Experience:The role of Senior Interior Designer requires a broad range of capabilities and experiences to apply knowledge and insight to building design, project execution, and client management. * Understands the many roles required of an Interior Designer * Motivated to deliver excellence * Is an expert in project execution and/or management and business development. * Desire to engage the marketplace beyond the Pond office through professional and/or client organizations. * Ability to mentor and teach younger staff, and to learn from older staff * Knows how to synthesize design ideas to solve a building need * Ability to develop complex project designs through schematic design, design development, and construction documents phases. * Ability to communicate effectively with clients and design teams. * Ability to build strong relationships with clients for loyalty and future work * Understanding and ability to provide and/or oversee construction contract administration services * Understanding of the relationship between design and construction costs * Ability to work with other project managers for business success * Ability to lead and coordinate with engineers and other consultants to deliver a fully integrated design where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.Qualifications: * Bachelor of Interior Design (4-yr) degree from an Accredited school of Interior Design. * Minimum of 10+ years of experience * Proficient with relevant software such as Revit for technical drawings, BlueBeam for design reviews, and Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator for presentations and proposals is expected. * Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work. * Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally * At Pond, we are a collaborative, innovative team in an environment that fosters learning and professional growth. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Senior Interior Designer with a salary range of $82,900.00 - $129,100.00 .Additional cash incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on position offered.
