Cyber Project Manager Location: Houston, TX Contract Length: 12+ Months Hybrid- 3 days onsite/2 remote Job reference# 235550 Job Overview: As the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating strategic projects across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, develop project plans, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Your expertise in project management, understanding of the oil and gas industry, cyber experience, and experience with Agile methodologies will be instrumental in driving project success. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-wide projects in the oil and gas sector, from exploration to distribution.* Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, taking into account industry-specific requirements and regulations.* Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets that address the unique challenges and complexities of oil and gas projects.* Identify and allocate resources required for project execution, including personnel, equipment, and materials, while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.* Coordinate cross-functional teams across different segments of the oil and gas value chain to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.* Work closely with Agile teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively, leveraging Agile methodologies and principles.* Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership and regulatory authorities.* Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize disruptions to operations.* Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies, leveraging industry best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.* Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, standards, and guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field; PMP certification preferred.* Proven experience of 6-8 years managing complex, cross-functional projects in the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of industry-specific operations and processes.* Experience working with Agile teams and familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.* Cybersecurity experience is a plus, with knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and standards applicable to the oil and gas industry.* Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar project management and collaboration tools.* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results and driving continuous improvement.* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to the oil and gas industry.* Experience working with regulatory authorities and managing compliance requirements for oil and gas projects.PDN-9c0fb98d-43b7-4ea1-b5ac-a2a8bedb9c8b
