CNC Machinist/Operator - 1st Shift Brinkman Precision, Inc., a well-established Rochester, NY based precision machining manufacturer is searching for CNC Machinists on 1st shift who possess a variety of skills. We offer a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities include setup (multi spindle or single spindle) and operations of CNC machines (milling, lathe, turning, grinding, Swiss, etc.) Setup, operation, and some machine troubleshooting High attention to detail and documentation SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Proficient in CNC machining, understanding of blue prints and GD&T. Capable of setting up repeat jobs as well as new jobs and prototype development Program writing or editing is desirable Understanding of tooling, part processing and inspection of parts Ability to work well under pressure, to adhere to deadlines and the ability to be flexible Ability to operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently Ability to take direction very well and get along with others Outstanding punctuality and attendance High School Diploma or GED Prior CNC Machinist experience preferred, minimum of 3 years Brinkman Precision offers competitive wages and excellent benefits including: Paid Time Off 401(k) matching Medical Dental Short Term Disability Long Term Disability Life Insurance And more!
