Practice Area: IP - Litigation General,Data Privacy - Transactional, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 7 Years, Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an experienced Cybercrime Enforcement Attorney - Of Counsel to support cybercrime and intellectual property enforcement work within the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience, with a strong background in civil litigation, particularly IP litigation, and internal or government IP enforcement investigations. The position is based in Washington, DC.Duties:Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on cybercrime and intellectual property enforcement matters.Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and case preparations.Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and other court filings.Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.Collaborate with other attorneys and Commercial Litigation Practice Group staff to develop comprehensive legal strategies.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the bar in the District of Columbia or eligibility to waive in.Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, focusing on cybercrime or intellectual property enforcement.Strong background in civil litigation, particularly in IP litigation.Experience conducting internal or government investigations related to IP enforcement is highly desirable.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications (Optional):Certification in Cybersecurity Law or Intellectual Property Law is a plus.Skills:Proficiency in legal research methods and databases.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Attention to detail and accuracy in legal document preparation.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.Excellent interpersonal skills for client interactions and negotiations.
