Summary The Development Project Coordinator will be an essential partner in helping to expand efforts around Women?s Philanthropy at U-M. This work will largely be focused on research, communications, data management, and development strategies that align with the goals of uplifting women's contributions and engagement with U-M. Project Work Description: Reporting and Communications: Compile key findings and create a presentation deck summarizing the outcomes of women's philanthropy meetings and initiatives. Draft and circulate communications to inform and engage participants about upcoming activities and follow-up actions. Engagement and Networking Development: Work with national major gifts team to identify regional alumnae champions who will advocate for women-focused philanthropy and community building in their geographic areas. Opportunity Mapping: Compile a comprehensive list of mentorship and involvement opportunities across the university pertinent to women's interests, including academic support, athletic programs, and women in leadership. Marketing and Communications Materials: Contribute to the development of materials that effectively communicate opportunities and programs that are of high interest to women donors and alumnae. Website Development: Support content creation for a possible website for Women?s Philanthropy. Additional Support: Undertake additional tasks to support the evolving needs of the national major gifts team. Required Qualifications* University of Michigan recent graduate. Desired Qualifications* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a diverse team. Graduating seniors who express interest in the development field, non-profit organization, or philanthropic efforts. Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication proficiency, capable of crafting clear and persuasive messages.
