Design solutions to drive safe living and quality of life As a Machinist - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our production floor by operating and maintaining various machining equipment to produce high-quality parts. Your expertise in machining processes will contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities --- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations --- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications --- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards --- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the machines or tools --- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan. U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
