Summary We are currently seeking a part-time childcare teacher for our school age program. Position includes 15-25 hours per week providing after school care, Monday-Friday 3-5:30. Position also includes potential full day care on no school days, some holidays, snow days, and school vacation weeks. For the right candidate, more hours could be worked in the preschool program as well. Duties -Provide a safe, engaging environment for children ages 5-12-Provide before and after school enrichment activities-Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment-Collaborate with other school age teaching staff -Communicate daily with families Requirements -Meet State Childcare Licensing requirements-Maintain 12+ hours of yearly Professional Development-CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to become certified Nice To Haves Knowledge of The Zones of Regulation Benefits 3 paid holidays, accrued sick and vacation time, free meals About Us The Children's Center provides comprehensive childcare services to children 6 weeks to 12 years of age, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We have built an exceptional child care facility staffed by caring, highly-qualified, and accomplished individuals who put children first. We take great pride in the extensive care, support, and enrichment activities that we are able to offer children including those with special needs. With 40+ years in business, the Center is now proud to serve the children and grandchildren of some of our very first clients.
