We are seeking a motivated insurance agent with an entrepreneurial spirit to identify and convert sales leads for insurance policies while overseeing a robust portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will have served in a related insurance industry role in which he or she cultivated a pool of prospective clients through referrals, networking, cold calls, marketing initiatives, and other proactive sales strategies. Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile• Spend time listening to new and potential clients, assess their priorities and finances, and determine suitable insurance plan options that successfully meet their individual insurance needs• Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients• Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction• Keep bookkeeping systems, sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress to monthly and quarterly sales quotas to stakeholders Qualifications: • Proven understanding of the insurance industry including insurance products, risk management and any state and federal regulations• Superb analytical, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills are needed to succeed in this role• Proficiency with accounting or sales-related software is helpful• Some computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office is required• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required Compensation: $65,000+ with base pay/commission About Company: Mutual Point Insurance, LLC is an independent insurance agency working with Atlas Insurance and their 140 + locations, representing 25+ auto, home, business, life, & health insurance companies.
