Shipping Supervisor Located in West Valley City, UT Full-time Shift: Day Shift - 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Thursday) Position Description Work as a leader of the Shipping Team to ensure timely and accurate shipments. Ensure all goals and expectations are being met on a daily basis. Work to improve the shipping processes. As the Shipping Supervisor you will oversee outgoing shipping activities monitor all required metrics and KPIs to ensure success Job Responsibilities Ensure products ship in accordance with the schedule Achieves daily, weekly and monthly shipping goals Operate ERP system data entry with a strong attention to detail Supervise and assist Shipping Team with pulling orders and validating picks Strong ability to problem solve. High attention to detail ensuring all serialized products are in the correct location and SN order Maintain a clean and organized workspace Participate in regular company product audits Maintain accurate and organized inventory Comply with safe work practices; understanding work injury procedures, workers comp, and OSHA standards Have a working knowledge of SilencerCo product line Ability to work with all employees within SilencerCo with exemplary teamwork Comply with Compliance standards while handling regulated products Self-identifies mistakes, identify problems and recommend solutions Resolve employee grievances, disciplines, and conduct annual performance reviews Participates in SilencerCo Management training programs Participate in organizational performance evaluations. Responsible for assessing team performance and providing feedback to employees Comply with safe work practices; understanding work injury procedures, workers comp, and OSHA standards. Manage employee time cards including all time off requests, correcting time punches, and approving time. Performs other related duties as assigned Job Qualifications - Required 2 years leadership experience Strong communication skills Familiar with inventory methods (LIFO, FIFO) Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed Ability to consistently move in a full range of motion Ability to stand for long periods of time Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position Goal oriented Basic computer skills 3-5 years of shipping experience Understanding of operating an ERP system Decision making skills Great attention to detail Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills Ability to perform tasks under pressure, and within a deadline driven environment Basic math skills Critical thinking and problem solving Knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets Have exceptional attendance (be to work on time, and take breaks at allowed time) Great work ethic and attitude Culture Though we come from all over, every member of the SilencerCo team shares a commitment to create the strongest brand in the firearms industry.
