Supervision and Leadership Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and mechanics. Provide guidance and support to ensure the team's effectiveness, productivity, and safety. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Perform periodic contractor review and scorecards to improve level of service and avoid disruption. Maintenance planning and scheduling Implement the preventive maintenance program for plant equipment and machinery. Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency. Coordinate with production and operations teams to plan maintenance windows that align with production schedules. Assist with the development of spare parts stores. Equipment Inspection and troubleshooting Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation problems. Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repairs. Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Stay informed about industry standards and best practices in maintenance and implement necessary changes to meet compliance requirements. Training and Development Provide training to maintenance staff on equipment, safety procedures, and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the maintenance team. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
