ABL develops and manufactures a broad range of products, primarily for defense, with a focus on tactical solid rocket propulsion. This technical management position oversees a team Mission Assurance Engineers. Responsibilities for this position include: Manage the daily operations of Mission Assurance Engineers Provide leadership and development support to team members Analyze data and drive process improvements Review and/or develop inspection plans based upon statistical methods Use Lean tools such as risk assessment, 8D, DFMEA and/or PFMEA Be a liaison with DCMA Assure established policies and procedures are being followed Manage group staffing to meet workload Skills Needed: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team Excellent communication skills Ability to make sound technical decisions Attention to details Ability to multi-task Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively Position Requirements: BS or higher degree in STEM Must be a US citizen At least 6 years of Relevant Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance Experience Preferred: Able to use custom manufacturing software (i.e. Solumina) to maintain quality records, traceability, etc. Lean Six Sigma training and certification Salary Range: $99,400 - $149,000The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
