Project Overview The ML2 project involves the design and construction of a launch platform for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The purpose of ML2, located at Kennedy Space Center (KSC), is to provide a launch platform for the Space Launch System (SLS), an advanced launch vehicle that will fill America's need for deep space missions. ML2 includes many different subsystems that must operate and fit within the constraints of the structure and provide physical interface with KSC launch sites' ground systems. Position Summary Assigned to the Construction organization in a supervisory capacity. Responsible for supervising and directing operations of construction craft personnel. Supervises and directs Construction craft activities assigned to ML2. Ensures assigned construction operations are performed safely, in compliance with specifications, and within budget and schedules. Performs general functions inherent in all supervisory construction (field) positions. Responsible for managing craft personnel in adherence to the Project Labor Agreement (PLA). Responsibilities :Coordinates with Engineering on constructability issues and model reviews.:Responsible for field construction operations within the Mechanical discipline. :Responsible for effective direct hire execution of all mechanical systems. :Familiar with a systems:based approach for mechanical installation. :Responsible for managing craft personnel in adherence to the Project Labor Agreement (PLA).:Familiar with P and ID and system scoping.:Experienced with LOTO procedure and able to coordinate system boundaries and personnel protection. :Determines workforce requirements. :Coordinates established area operational plans. :Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.:Monitors work activities and ensures the quality of work performed.:Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.:Approves craft time records using established automated tools.:Prepares reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, craft personnel forecasts, and expenditures forecast.:Monitors tool usage on the site. Prepares Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.:Monitors the activities of subcontractors and direct hire craft to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.:Responsible for the implementation of corporate/project policies, procedures, and instructions within assigned operations.:Coordinates activities with other disciplines or areas and clients' resident re
