DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES AM/NS Calvert is currently investing 775m to build a new Steelmaking facility to supply carbon steel slabs to its existing rolling mill assets. Theideal Electrical Engineer will provide strong technical knowledge and skills to assist maintenance and production personnel on the Steelmaking team in the implementation of equipment and system improvements. This team member will also coordinate with third party engineering companies to support the business goals of AM/NSCalvert. The Basics: : Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering: 3 years' minimum of heavy industrial manufacturingexperience: Demonstrated knowledge of ElectricalEngineering practices: Maintenance Knowledge of heavy industrial equipment: Technical knowledge of:stylelist:style:type:circle::Design and programming of PLC and HMI based control systems:Design and start:up of AC drive systems:Electrical systems, drives (VFD/VSD), controls:Reviewing and Developing P and IDs:NEC and NFPA 70E : Knowledge of Predictive Maintenance techniques and analysis:Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint) The Extras: : Experience using SAP preferred: Steel industry experience preferred TRAITS TO BE SUCCESSFUL :Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders, work in small and large teams:Demonstrates strong decision:making, analytical, and problem:solving skills:Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects with minimal supervision:Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives :Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement:Demonstrate the company values of Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Relationships, and Sustainability WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :Provide technical support and consultancy to the management structure in the electrical and automation disciplines (L0 and L1) disciplines:Coordinate Engineering activities to support maintenance areas in the implementation of System/Equipment modifications and/or improvements, including te
