As a Travel Advisor, you will be responsible for booking amazing trips for corporate and leisure clients to destinations all around the world all while running your very own travel agency! Must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to work in the US. Must be able to effectively communicate with clients (sales or customer service background a plus but not required) Must have a smartphone, laptop, or tablet with reliable internet/Wi-Fi Positive attitude Comfortable working with minimal supervision Responsibilities: Research, create and execute exceptional itineraries for clients Review individual's needs and wants for travel, to ensure you can create a trip specially designed to meet their needs Complete ongoing training to earn and maintain certification to book travel Attend ongoing webinars with vendors and suppliers, to become specialized in specific destinations Review budgets and plan trips according to the client’s budget constraints Monitor restrictions on travel Book travel needs (airline, car rental, hotel accommodations, cruise, ticket/event sales, etc.) Effectively communicate with clients pre/post-travel Handle issues that may arise during the bookings and/or travel for clients Network with tour operators regarding packages you can offer to clients Part-time or full-time Benefits: Flexible Schedule Travel Perks – bonuses, complimentary theme park tickets, complimentary cruises!
