RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR Hybrid work environment (subject to change); 2-3 days in office; other days remote Location: New York, NY Salary: $ 60,000 ABOUT IJC IJC is the country's first fellowship program cited by The New York Times as an innovator in our field . Our Justice Fellows and Community Fellows are recent law graduates and college graduates, respectively, who are committed to providing immigration legal services to under-served populations and who join a new generation of dedicated advocates working to serve immigrant communities . Creative thinking and the pursuit of new strategies to increase access to justice are essential to our mission. The United States is facing a growing representation crisis in immigration. Immigrant Justice Corps’ (IJC) Fellowship program offers a blueprint for meeting the ongoing representation crisis. Every year, we recruit, train, and mentor talented lawyers and exceptional college graduates and deploy them with legal services providers and community-based organizations to assist low-income immigrants . IJC’s goal is to substantially close the gap in representation for immigrants and believe an infusion of IJC Fellows can make a transformational difference. THE OPPORTUNITY Immigrant Justice Corps (“IJC”) seeks an individual with initiative and who can work collaboratively in a team environment to serve as the Recruitment Coordinator to the Fellowship Recruitment Team . Reporting to the Senior Recruitment Manager , t his position will support the department with growing the pool of Fellowship applicants, supporting the process of recruiting and selecting Justice and Community Fellows, maintaining recruitment data, and serve as a support for Recruitment events and strategies . Core responsibilities include : Performing duties associated with scheduling, organizing, and administering Recruitment Team meetings, recruitment events, and similar events, including researching and presenting law school and immigration clinic partner contacts to the Senior Recruitment Manager and Recruitment Manager. Assisting in the production and distribution of recruitment materials, assisting the Recruitment Team with travel arrangements and per diems or reimbursements, ensuring all needed supplies are procured, and maintaining Recruitment Calendar. Administering logistics/troubleshooting and serving as a point of contact for prospective Fellows during the application and selection process. Performing duties associated with scheduling, organizing, and administering the annual Justice Fellowship application and selection cycle and Community Fellowship application and selection cycle, including scheduling interviews, creating and sending needed Zoom links, troubleshooting as needed, and participating in the review of applications and interviewing of candidates. Performing duties associated with the process of “matching” selected fellowship candidates and host organizations, including analyzing submitted rankings and helping to find appropriate matches based on those rankings and assisting in preparing for and executing an informational webinar for selected fellowship candidates. Preparing and disseminating recruitment data reports to assist the Recruitment team in preparing memos and reports on key performance indicators and quarterly reports for funding requirements. Assisting with the recruitment and selection of Host Organizations and troubleshooting application portal issues. Send Host Organization surveys and maintain host organization information. Assisting in the development and implementation of a CRM system for prospective applicants, host organizations, and key law school and immigration clinic contacts. Ensure contact and other data is accurate and updated, conduct an annual audit of information in the CRM system. Maintain and update recruitment marketing materials, assist with ordering and inventory management of recruitment materials and supplies. Assisting with conducting Justice Fellow information sessions and other recruitment events, both in-person and virtual. Assisting in the design and implementation of new recruitment events and activities, including working with the team to brainstorm ideas for new events and assisting in preparing for and executing any logistics associated with implementation (i.e. scheduling, the production and preparation of materials, technology set up, vendor procurement, etc.) Ensure Fellowship application opportunities are posted on all law school job boards, job posting websites, distributed on relevant email list-servs (Bar associations, public interest, etc). Collaborating with the Fellowship Coordinator, assisting with the scheduling and assignment of Fellow check-ins through the application portal, and conducting check-ins as needed. Maintaining internal record keeping including meeting notes, CRM database, spreadsheets, SharePoint upkeep, etc POSITION REQUIREMENTS Authorized to work in the United States 3-5 years equivalent work experience (non-profit or immigration) Advanced computer skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong verbal written and communication skills Demonstrated success working within a team setting as well as independently Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task Ability to take initiative and exercise sound judgement in making decisions Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to immigrant rights, social justice, and racial equity. Proficiency in a language other than English (especially Spanish, French, Arabic, Haitian; or Guyanese Creole, Wolof, Fulani, Yoruba, Igbo, Akan, Fula, or Swahili) desirable, but not required Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for analyzing data Experience with LinkedIn and/or other professional network programs and applications Experience using Recruitment related programs such as CRMs and Application Tracking systems COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The salary range is adjusted for experience and geographic location.
