Description: Perform completion of Organizational-Level,Intermediate-Level and Depot-Level aircraftmaintenance tasks, repairs, modifications, TimeCompliance with Technical Orders and One-TimeInspections on CV-22 aircraft. Perform rework ofnon-consumable components and the followingunprogrammed contingency Items: CrashDamage Repair, Structural rebuild, drop-Inaircraft maintenance, and Depot Field Teamsupport. Perform acceptance inspections ofcritical flight control components after returnfrom rework or upon receipt from themanufacturer as well as aircraft acceptance and transfer inspections. Perform skin depth penetration damage repair with fabricated honeycomb core plug, pot, and patch repair. Perform proper wet layups exercising care to eliminate air bubbles, waves, folds, pockets, resin starved areas, as well as metal bonded repairs exercising care to eliminate disbanded areas and uncured adhesives. Perform Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance actions. Performcomposite/aluminum surface preparation forstructural bonded repairs. Perform injectionrepairs of edge delamination on compositelaminates. Remove and fabricatecarbon/fiberglass epoxy and aluminum repairpatches. Reattach loose skin surface ply andseal with missing ply. Perform complexsystem/sub-system troubleshooting. Usechemical lubricants, solvents, sealants, coatings,primers, adhesives, paints, and special finishes.Assemble and install parts, structuralcomponents, and sub-assemblies to build andattach major wing assemblies, including sealing,plumbing systems, and electrical components.Inspect work for quality and check for ForeignObject Debris (FOD). Work on composite/metalaircraft using drills and high-impact vibratorytools (i.e., bucking, riveting). Operatemechanical lifts of various types (e.g. scissorlifts, elevated work platforms). On-the-jobtraining and documentation training of active dutymaintenance technicians as required. Travelto other CV-22 locations to perform maintenancerepairs may be required. Additional duties asrequired Basic Qualifications: Minimum four (4) years of CV-22 airframe,military industry experience in those duties aspreviously described. Extensive working knowledge usingtechnical publications, bulletins, diagrams,ground support equipment, and precision tools inaccordance with the Interactive ElectronicTechnical Manual (IETM). Ability to look up, read, and comprehendtechnical work instructions,drawings, and/or specifications. Must have the ability to obtain a secret security clearance. Desired Skills: Prior experience with CV-22 IntegratedMaintenance Concept (IMC) operations. NEC or MOS-specific military Advanced CompositeStructure Repair Level 1 and/or Level 2 training.Knowledge and experience in the setup andoperation of computer-aided, manual, andpneumatic tools and equipment. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
