Practice Area: Finance - General,Finance - Structured Finance, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 4 Years, A law firm in Charlotte is currently seeking a skilled Structured Credit and Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in securitization or structured finance. Prior work experience with private credit or CLOs is advantageous, and experience in a large law firm setting is strongly preferred. Duties:Collaborate with partners and senior associates on structuring, negotiating, and documenting structured credit and collateralized loan obligations transactions.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis pertaining to securitization and structured finance matters.Draft, review, and revise transaction documents, including offering memoranda, indentures, and related agreements.Provide legal counsel and support to clients throughout all stages of structured finance transactions.Stay abreast of pertinent laws, regulations, and industry developments affecting structured credit and CLOs. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in North Carolina.4-6 years of experience in securitization or structured finance.Prior experience with private credit or CLOs is considered advantageous.Demonstrated experience in a large law firm environment is strongly preferred.Strong academic record. Skills:Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Keen attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Certifications:Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
