Summary Ellie's Academy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Center Director to oversee the operations of our early childhood education center. The Center Director will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education to children while fostering a supportive and enriching environment for staff and families. Duties Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the center, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and values Oversee day-to-day operations, including curriculum implementation, staff management, enrollment, and facility maintenance Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, staff, and the broader community Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and uphold high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness Recruit, hire, train, and mentor staff members to promote professional growth and development Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that enhance the overall quality of the center Monitor and manage budgetary resources effectively, including tuition fees, expenses, and financial reporting Act as a liaison between the center, families, and external stakeholders, representing Ellie's Academy with professionalism and integrity Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting Knowledge of state licensing requirements and early childhood education best practices Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and inspiring teams Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and childcare management software Nice To Haves Director's Credential or equivalent certification Experience with accreditation processes (e.g., NAEYC, Grow NJ Kids) Knowledge of Reggio Emilia or other progressive educational philosophies Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and holidays Professional development opportunities and tuition reimbursement Supportive work environment with opportunities for career advancement Ellie's Academy is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
