Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a borough council, based in Surrey, which is in need of an experienced Legal Practice Manager to provide comprehensive commercial, resource-planning and administrative assistance within their Legal Services team. ROLE: Legal Practice Manager LOCATION: Borough council in Surrey – hybrid working RATE: £45-£55ph CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 month rolling The role of a Legal Practice Manager: Be responsible for the administrative duties involved in the running of the case management and time recording system used by staff within the council’s Legal Services Act as the general day-to-day point of contact for client officers, Members and Council customers Monitor invoicing and budgets relating to the Legal Services Any other duties deemed necessary by the Deputy Monitoring Officer for the successful running of the team The person: Ideally someone who has been a Legal Practice Manager at a local authority previously Experience of using a case management and time recording system within a Legal Services Have the ability to monitor progress of legal work carried out b external solicitors and council Education to ‘A’ level or equivalent Benefits: Flexible working hours Hybrid working If this sounds like an opportunity that is right for you or someone you know, then don't hesitate to get in touch with Hugh Barnes via email, , or via phone at 0177xyzxyz.
