Work condition and physical capabilities - Repetitive task, sitting, physically demanding Personal skills - Team player, flexible, Reliability Documentation knowledge - Driver Logbook Credential/ License - Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Transportation / Travel Information – Willing to travel overnight, willing to travel cross-border Specific Skills - -Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo-Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment-Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials-Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes-Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle-Perform emergency roadside repairs-Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption-Load unload goods- Communication Systems Experience - Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment.
