Programme Finance Officer We are looking for an experienced Programme Finance Officer to join an organisation building brighter futures for vulnerable children. Position: Programme Finance Officer Location: Milton Keynes or London (UK-based employees)Hours: Full-time - 36.5 hours per week Contract: Permanent Salary: £30,763 per annum, depending on experience good range of benefits Closing date: 14th September 2023About the role: The Programme Finance Officer will amplify the organisations impact through grants acquisition and quality management of grant-funded programmes. You will be working across the organisation's global partnership to ensure the successful management of a portfolio of projects and programmes in compliance with donor requirements and aligned to implementing the Policy & Programmes grants strategy. You will also be focusing on the Most Vulnerable Children to facilitate the organisations mission of positively impacting child well-being. Key responsibilities will include: Leading on grant compliance and management of the organisation's financial processes and reporting. Providing technical advice on compliance and financial management of donor-funded programmes. Supporting the development and submission of proposals for grant and commercial contracts. Managing financial and operational risks in programme portfolios. Maintaining up-to-date information on systems and databases. Conducting monitoring trips including visits to projects in fragile states and as part of emergency response grants. Working with others to build & improve stakeholders' relationship. About you: We are looking for a Programme Finance officer with experience in developing complex budgets and the ability to effectively present costing and pricing options and models, that will drive success in competitive markets.
