Project Engineering Manager - Capture Team

Description: We are Lockheed Martin You will be the Manager of the F-35 Capture team within Engineering & Technology (E&T). You will lead the team in supporting proposals and business capture for the F-35 Program (i.e. Development, International, Production, and Sustainment proposals). addition to leading the team, you will work across functions and communicate, mitigate, and solve issues related to the In development and/or execution to the proposal. You will use metrics to address and improve E&T team performance in developing proposals. The manager will also lead and participate in process improvement initiatives related to proposal development and execution. This includes all aspects of the job, i.e. technical, cost and schedule execution. What You Will Be Doing As the Manager your responsibilities will include:* Managing team resources within allocatedbudgets to ensure support for all proposals in adynamic environment* Identifying and addressing issues, risks andopportunities* Interacting with senior leadership in E&T,program management, sustainment, andstakeholders* Developing and maintaining a Vemo staffingplan that supports evaluation of future staffingneeds* Performing personnel management tasksincluding staffing, training, assigning anddirecting work, and conducting performancereviews. Will provide leadership and guidance tocoach, motivate, and lead team members.INTERIM SECRET You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
