The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate, consumer finance, and construction litigation and a proven track record of handling complex commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution. They should possess exceptional communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Duties:Conduct fact investigations and legal research for commercial litigation cases.Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Manage internal and external deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff.Collaborate with other attorneys and practice groups as needed.Requirements:Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar.Minimum of 8+ years of experience in commercial litigation.Prior experience with real estate, consumer finance, and construction litigation is preferred.Proven track record of handling all phases of complex commercial litigation cases.Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Exceptional written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Trial experience preferred.Civil litigation case management experience is a plus.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.Skills:Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.Outstanding judgment and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and productively.Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.Effective time management and organization skills.Ability to develop and implement legal strategies.Experience with civil litigation case management software is a plus.
