Airport Security Guard Airport Setting Guard provides excellent customer service to our client and their clients. We are recruiting a Part -Time security guard to work at one of our airport sites. What's in it for you? Shifts: Saturday and Sunday (1900-0700) Pay rate $16.00. Uniform is provided. Paid onsite training. Corporate Discounts. What you’ll be doing Maintain a safe and secure environment Access control of entryways and exit points using equipment at your disposal Enforce property regulations and city bi-laws on the client's site Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues Complete daily reports and incident reports Provide excellent customer service Career Requirements One (1) year of customer service experience. Valid Manitoba Security License Security experience an Asset Must have 5F Drivers License. Our security guards must be able to obtain a Transportation Canada Security Clearance (RAIC) and Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit prior to successfully completing an extensive training program. Must be a Canadian citizen or a Permanent Resident. No previous criminal background for which a pardon has not been granted. Over 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Skill Requirements Fluency in English, spoken and written. Fluency in French is an asset Excellent communication, customer service and people skills Strong teamwork abilities and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize, remain calm and alert while multi-tasking in a dynamic environment Comfortable undertaking training and operating in a rapidly changing, high tech setting Able to work outside.
