Description Specialization: Cardiology Interventional Job Summary: Medical City Heart Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join Medical City Institute for Advanced Cardiac Care in Dallas, TX. Qualified Candidates: Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Cardiology experience is preferred, but not required Advanced Heart Failure experience preferred Call Requirements: 1:3 rotating weekends Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday Primarily clinic based position that will collaborate with Advanced Care Cardiologist on management of complex cardiology care Incentive/Benefits Package: Employed opportunity Competitive total package Comprehensive benefits package including 401k and paid malpractice Paid time off, CME and dues allowance Opportunity to participate in didactics and research, if interested About Medical City Heart Hospital: 63-bed specialized adult Medical City Heart Hospital consists of 3 cardiac catheterization labs, 3 biplane EP/interventional catheterization labs, 2 dedicated cardiovascular operating rooms with 3 rd under construction, 2 hybrid operating rooms with a 15-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and 24-bed Progressive Care Unit with 24/7 attending/NP coverage Full range of advanced cardiac care services provided, including advanced heart failure, VAD, cardiac transplantation, cardiogenic shock, etc. World class expertise in advanced cardiac care, arrythmia ablation, device therapy, cardiac imaging, adult cardiac surgery, arrhythmia surgery, structural heart disease, cardiac transplantation and mechanical support Dallas is the 9th largest city in the US and the third largest in Texas with a population of 1,281,047. Dallas is centrally located and within a four-hour flight from most North American destinations. It is served by two airports; Dallas/Ft. Worth International and Dallas Love Field that combined provide more than 2,200 flights daily. AMTRAK also provides daily service to Dallas via Union Station. The Dallas area is home to 21 Fortune 500 companies including Exxon Mobil, JC Penney, AT&T, Texas Instruments, and others.
