Infrastructure Oversight: Design, develop, and safeguard the organization's cloud infrastructure, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and performance. Oversee the management and maintenance of servers, containers, networking, and storage solutions to ensure high-quality infrastructure components. Advocate for cloud architecture excellence, highlighting scalability, failover strategies, and business continuity planning. Foster collaboration with engineering departments to advance DevOps methodologies like continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) and infrastructure as code (IaC). Supervise environment configurations across development, test, and production stages to promote consistency, reliability, and scalability. Cybersecurity Leadership: Develop and implement a robust security framework, outlining policies, practices, and measures to protect the organization's technological assets and data integrity. Conduct thorough security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities. Deploy state-of-the-art security solutions and tools to safeguard the cloud ecosystem from cyber threats. Monitor security protocols, analyze logs, and respond promptly to security breaches. Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and innovations, proactively implementing strategies to mitigate emerging threats. IT Administration: Manage internal IT infrastructure, including staff hardware and software requirements. Establish and enforce IT governance policies to ensure the secure, accessible, and efficient operation of internal IT resources. Manage the acquisition, deployment, and maintenance of technological assets to enhance productivity and efficiency. Provide IT support services, resolving technical issues to maintain employee satisfaction and productivity. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess technology needs and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency and innovation. Ensure compliance with legal and industry standards related to IT operations and data security. Team Management: Lead and develop a team of IT and security professionals, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Manage team dynamics, including task allocation, performance evaluation, and professional development to optimize team performance and morale. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; higher degrees or certifications like CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect are advantageous. Over 5 years of experience in infrastructure oversight, cloud solutions architecture, and cybersecurity within a cloud-centric environment. Proficiency in cloud platforms (preferably AWS, but including Azure, GCP), as well as networking, virtualization, and container technologies. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security strategies to mitigate cyber threats. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and team engagement abilities. Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
