Job Description Overview Vectrus is a rapidly growing, energetic, and win-focused enterprise supporting Federal government, military, and civilian agenciesWe have offices located in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Oklahoma, New Jersey, and CaliforniaWe are an organization committed to growth and shared success for all stakeholders; we are customer-driven, mission focused, and operate with integrity and trust in all relationshipsWe are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support Patuxent River Naval Air StationResponsibilities The Electrical Engineer will provide in-depth research and analysis of foreign systems in support of US Navy efforts to develop and validate weapon design, countermeasures, and tacticsSpecific responsibilities will include: Operate, maintain, and calibrate network analyzers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and other electronic lab equipmentAnalyze and test electronic systems to include digital, analog, radio frequency (RF), antenna, microcontroller, digital signal processing (DSP), digital forensics, and sensor componentsPerform RF measurements and model/simulate the RF systems using programs such as CSTCreate fixtures, interfaces, and models for testing and analysisCreate schematics and flowcharts, research electronic components, analyze circuit operation, and photograph/document findingsQualifications Required: Minimum 3 years electrical technical engineering experience and knowledge of working in a laboratory environment conducting analysis of RF systems using equipment identified in the position descriptionExperience in hardware and/or software reverse engineering Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) This position will require U.Scitizenship and an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartment Information (TS/SCI) materialDue to the nature of this work, we are unable to consider applicants who do not hold this level of clearanceDesired: Demonstrated proficiency in effective communications (writing, speaking, briefing) Schematic Generation: OrCAD, Altium, EAGLE, KiCAD, Diptrace Circuit Simulation, measurement, automation: PSpice, LabVIEW Micro-miniature soldering experience Software Programming: C/C++, Python, PHP Software Disassembly: IDA Pro, Ghidra Digital Forensic: EnCASE, FTK, X-Ways, OSForensics, Autopsy CAD packages: SolidWorks, NX Antenna design and simulation: CST Microwave studio suite, Antenna Magus CompTIA certification: A+, Network+, Security+ We are committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace that values and supports the contributions of each individualThis commitment along with our common Vision and Values of Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility, allows us to leverage differences, encourage innovation and expand our success in the global marketplaceVectrus is an Equal Opportunity /Affirmative Action EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, protected veteran status or status as an individual with a disabilityEOE/Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran.
