We are presently accepting resumes for a number of Permanent Part-Time Support Worker to work on in our group homes in Orillia. Compensation Package: These positions will be assigned to our day line working up to 60 hours biweekly, primarily between the hours of 8am-8pm Additional hours may be available with a minimum rate of pay of $26.16/hour; 11 paid Statutory Holidays; Confidential Employee Assistance program for you and for your immediate family; Following the successful completion of probation: Employer paid health and life insurance; employee/employer paid dental; Employer paid sick and personal leave time; Vacation hours; Participation in RRSP with employer match up to 4% Minimum Qualifications: D. S. W. diploma or an acceptable educational equivalency (Child & Youth Worker, E. C. E. S. S. W. Nursing, Psychology, P. S. W. etc. ) as determined by the employer is required; Candidates who have a completed Degree or Diploma from an accredited college or university in an unrelated field must have 2 years full-time work experience directly supporting people; When submitting your resume and cover letter, please also upload a copy of your diplomas / degrees. In your resume, please ensure that you specify the length of your programs; Ability to work weekends and holidays; Ability to attend team meetings and training as required during daytime hours; A valid class " G" driver's license and own reliable transportation is an asset; Role/Duties: Our Direct Support Workers provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities with all aspects of daily living.
