Posting End Date: Work Place Flexibility: Hybrid Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Internally classified as IT Consultant, Sr : Telecom this position is responsible for telecommunications radio system and architecture development, FCC compliance program, and leadership of strategic telecom transport security program as well as tracking of tactical initiatives to implement. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES : Act as a lead on information technology initiatives affecting Entergy's Radio System and coordinate Cyber Issue response and plan across the entire transport environment. : Work closely with business leaders to understand the direction and corporate road map to develop an appropriate telecommunications radio strategy to support business goals. Work with telecommunications engineering team to architect and track solutions that effectively address telecom transport cyber threats. Lead the development of Telecommunications Transport plan to ensure the environment is compliant with all security polices and hardened against cyber threats. Participate in the selection of telecommunications technologies and products. In conjunction with program management, develop the telecommunications technology radio system road map and investment plan, and participate in communication of the plan to technology and/or business management. Maintain familiarity with applicable FCC/FAA regulations and ensure compliance with applicable requirements, regulations, procedures, and specifications. Ensure employees, contractors and vendors operate in compliance with Energy's safety regulations and practices. Ensure proper follow: up in compliance with Human Performance procedures by creating Condition Reports, conducting causal analyses, and pursuing Corrective Action, as required. Utilize applicable change management methodology to assure effective implementation of changes. Develop and revise procedures as required. Maintain familiarity with.
