A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FIELD SERVICE MACHINE BUILDER As a Field Service Machine Builder in manufacturing, you are responsible for bending and installing simple pipes and tubing. You also handle tasks related to hose and small parts fabrication or installation. Using your exceptional mechanical skills, you assist with machinery rigging and shipping as well as machine set-up. At times, you safely operate our heavier equipment, including overhead cranes and forklifts. Additionally, you work on our mechanical assemblies to keep them moving at a good pace and complete the necessary documents to release our designs to production. QUALIFICATIONS FOR FIELD SERVICE MACHINE BUILDER High school diploma or equivalent Experience working in a team environment Demonstrated mechanical aptitude A track record of taking technical classes in high school or a post-secondary institution is preferred. At least two years of experience in the profession and basic computer skills would be a plus, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Are you highly organized and attentive to detail?
