$10/hourFREE YMCA Membership!QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 18 years of age, strong interpersonal skills, solid verbal and written communications skills, computer literate, and knowledgeable in the realm of customer service.BASIC FUNCTION: Supervise recreational activities at the YMCA, patrolling the building, outside parking lots. Ensure that each person who enters the facility feels safe and follows YMCA policy and procedures.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Uphold policies, procedures and mission of the Y at all times Maintain a professional appearance following the Y dress code Provide a safe and positive environment for all who enter the Y Maintain professional conduct and remain alert and observant of behaviors at all times Handle all situations, problems, issues, and complaints in a positive and professional manner and inform the VPO of any and all situations Report all incidents/accidents using the proper forms and leave in VPO mailbox Report any needed repairs to VPO using appropriate form and leave in mailbox Greet members and community members with a smile and a greeting. Be aware and knowledgeable of all YMCA programs and schedules as seen in Program Guide, and on our website. Walking the building and property at least once an hour to maintain order Suggest improvements Return any YMCA equipment to its proper location Attend any meetings or trainings as assigned.
