Facilities Specialist Southern Seven Health Department is seeking applications for a regular, full time Facilities Specialist position that is based at the Administrative Office in Ullin, Illinois. This position will work 40 hours per week and does come with vacation and sick time accrual, holidays, and life insurance. There will be travel to multiple sites throughout the southern seven counties in Illinois however an agency vehicle will be available for travel purposes. Qualifications: The applicant must have at least a High School Diploma PLUS 5 years of experience. Bachelor's degree in Safety or Business related. Building inspection experience is a plus. Pay Range: $19.48-$20.45 Job Duties: Assist with budget and grant preparations by providing necessary estimates on facilities and playgrounds. Maintains records of facilities including property and equipment. Assist with annual inventory. Prepares bid specifications for facilities and improvements. Tracks repairs and other modifications of facilities. Works closely with maintenance staff in relation to work orders. Performs other duties as requested or assigned to meet the requirements of the agency.
