Purpose The Project Manager is accountable for actively leading and supporting delivery teams through a number of interrelated business and/or IT initiatives that require planning, collaboration and execution. Regardless of the delivery framework (Waterfall/Agile) this role will demonstrate a commitment to creating productive, engaged and capable delivery team(s). Ensure key metrics provide the basis for teams to deliver quality customer experiences, in a timely manner building and fostering a culture of transparency focused on the ability to inspect and adapt as needed. The project manager collaborates with product, engineering, design and our business partners ensuring that software delivery is on time, on budget and in a way that meets the business expectations. The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of all project artifacts, risk backssments and will conduct projects in accordance with Tangerine delivery standards and follow Project Management methodology. This role is a hands-on manager with experience delivering business/technology initiatives and familiarity with banking products like Credit Cards and Lending & Payments. The PM supports the business in delivering their vision and provides oversight & guidance to a team of software and quality engineers that actively pursue effective delivery of solutions spanning mobile and web applications, integrations, backend services and APIs and in alignment with the Enterprise Technology Roadmap.
