Family Support Worker Redbridge Umbrella Pay- £16.04 per hour03/12/203 – 6 months initially Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, 35 hrs/week We are looking for an experienced family support worker, passionate about supporting families with children with disabilities. The Role This is a hybrid role and would suit a highly organised and experienced Practitioner who is self -directed and willing to develop their skills and expertise. Direct work with children and families within a Childrens centre. To backss and review the needs of children in need and their families by reviewing their care packages. To develop and deliver personalised packages of support for children or young people to assist them in overcoming barriers which may be impacting on their personal, social, and economic progression and their ability to achieve their full potential. To liaise with relevant professionals in backssing and planning services for children with disabilities. Carry out appropriate administrative tasks in support of the work, maximising the use of available information technology. To maintain accurate, comprehensive information/case records using specified electronic systems and always complying with completion deadlines. Requirements Have experience of working with children with disabilities. Experience in Child backssments. Experience and ability to compose and produce reports, records and correspondence. A qualification in Childcare or Social care. Valid UK driving licence is desirable.
